Us? Obsessed with having fun? Yes. Yes we are. And we don't think that's something to get over anytime soon. In fact, we actually think everyone needs way more of it in their everyday lives. Big nights out once a month that took group chat polls to plan don't count.
Somewhere along the way of growing up, hanging out turned into a thing that needs scheduling. No shade, but we all know the back and forth texting of "we should do something soon!" After careful consideration and group chat votes, usually something works out at best a weekend next month. The fun of spontaneity has become a lost art.
Even though, if you look back, the best memories are the ones when you randomly ended up somewhere or at someone's place with no purpose. They were the most random Tuesdays and afternoons.
So this is us saying, do more of that. Spend less time diplomatically negotiating a slot that works for everyone's calendar, and more just meeting up spontaneously. Definitely don't have an agenda in mind beforehand, don't plan anything, let everything unfold itself (very important instructions). It is all fun and games after all.
